Late Materials 

Fines are charged on materials that are not returned on time. The fine rate is $0.10 per day per item for most materials. The fine rate is $0.50 per day per item for DVDs and VHS tapes. At no time shall the amount of the fine exceed the replacement cost of the item or $7.50. Fines are accumulated on scheduled days of operation. 

Library borrowing privileges will be suspended to any cardholder who has more than $5.00 in fines/fees or after library materials are ten (10) days overdue.  FINES ON MATERIALS (especially Audio/Visual materials) FROM OTHER LIBRARIES MAY EXCEED $0.10 or $0.50 PER DAY.

Photocopier

The Library has a  black & white photocopier available for public use. Copies are $0.20 per page.

Internet

The Germantown Community Library is pleased to offer Internet access to registered Library users. There is a $0.10 per page charge for printouts; the printer is black & white only. There is no charge for Internet searching, e-mail, or other electronic resources. There is a half-hour limit unless no one else is waiting.

Public Computer

There are two computers available for Library users. Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint programs are available. Sign-up is required. There is a one-hour limit unless no one else is waiting. There is a $0.10 per page charge for printouts; the printer is black & white only.

Typewriter

There is a typewriter available for public use at no charge.

FAX

Fax service is available at the Library. The fee for faxes sent is $1.00 per page. The fee for faxes received is $1.00 per page.
