Internet Use Policy

 

In keeping with the Library's objective to make accessible the widest range of information in a variety of formats, the Germantown Community Library offers public access to the Internet.

The Library does not monitor and has no control over the information available on the Internet and is not responsible for its content.

Parents and/or guardians are responsible for their children's use of the Internet. The Library does not monitor and has no control over children's use of the Internet.

Internet Use Rules:

All persons 18 years and older must sign an Internet Use Registration form. Parents must sign for children under age 18.
Users must present their library card with Internet access sticker to use an Internet station.
Use of the Internet stations is on a first come, first serve basis. Sign-up is required.
Users are limited to one half hour of time per day.
There is a $.10 per page charge for printouts from the Internet printer.  All printouts are in black and white only.
