Storytime lasts about 30 minutes. It is an introduction to the world of
books, literature, and lifelong learning. Programs may include stories,
songs, finger plays and other related activities.
Please:

Discuss with your
child the importance of being a good listener by
being quiet and still, so others can enjoy the stories, too.
|
|
|
Adults, do not
visit during storytime. Set a good example for
the children by saving visiting for later.
|
|
|
Plan to arrive on
time or early. Children are easily distracted
by latecomers.
|
|
|
Do not bring snacks
to storytime and the library. There is
to be NO food or drink in the library, unless it is a special
treat at a program. Wait until you leave the library to give your
child snacks of any kind.**

|
|
Parents do not leave
the building. You do not need
to stay in the storyroom. You may browse
in the library during the program.
|
|
|
Remember to
turn off cell phones.**
