Storytime

 

                                                    WINTER/SPRING 2012

                        Jan. 24  -  April 17

                                                                Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. 

                               Geared to 3 - 5 year olds.

                                     Storytime lasts about 30 minutes.

                                     No sign up is required.

                                      Children of all ages are welcome at storytime.

Storytime is an introduction to the world of books, literature, lifelong learning and social skills.  Programs may include stories, songs, finger plays and other related activities. The following guidelines help everyone enjoy storytime.

  Please:

Discuss with your child the importance of being a good listener.

Arrive early or on time. Children are easily distracted by latecomers.

Park strollers outside the storytime room.
Do not talk during storytime. Set a good example for children by saving visiting for later.

Parents/caregivers do not leave the building. (You do not need to stay in the storyroom.)

NO food or drink in the Library. **

Turn off or silence cell phones.**
