Teen Booklists

Below are links to sites that have booklists for kids and teens.  Some have ready made lists, while others have you enter some information to narrow your choices of books.

BOOKHIVE Here are booklists by grade level, as well as "Zinger's favorites" from past years organized by age. You may need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader in order to look at the booklists.

DATABASE OF AWARD WINNING CHILDREN'S LITERATURE:  Need a Newberry Medal winning book?  How about a Caldecott winner?  Maybe you just want to read a book that is "good" by someone's standards.  Check out these books because each one has won some kind of award.  You have to fill in some information about the kind of book you want for the site to make you a list.  This site is run by a California librarian.

HIGHLAND PARK PUBLIC LIBRARY:  Lots of booklists by subject, grade level, and/or new books.  Very cool, to quote a patron.

MID-CONTINENT PUBLIC LIBRARY: Great Reader's Advisory page as well as information for all ages.  Includes links to information on the web.
